President Bouteflika 280916President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika has signed several presidential decrees ratifying agreements and memorandums of understanding, in accordance with the Article 91-9 of the Constitutions, said Wednesday the Presidency of the Republic in a statement.

The first decree concerns the interpretative declarations relating to the protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa, adopted at the second African Union Summit in Maputo (Mozambique) on 11 July 2003.

The second decree ratifies the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance, adopted by the African Union heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) on 30 January 2007.

The third presidential decree is about the ratification of the Regional Convention on the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean Preferential Rules of Origin, signed in Brussels (Belgium) on 5 October 2012.

The fourth decree ratifies the memorandum of understanding in the fields of consumer protection, economic monitoring and commercial fraud prevention, signed between the Government of Algeria and the Government of Qatar in Doha on 23 November 2014.
