A new agreement between Algerie and Norway will strengthen maritime cooperation between the two countries. Algeria and Norway signed on July 23, a bilateral shipping agreement.
"The agreement will help strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Norway and Algeria, and ensure both Norwegian and Algerian maritime operators stable and predictable conditions", said Ms Dilek Ayhan in Industry and Fisheries Ministry.
The agreement contains provisions related to consular affairs, market access for maritime services and mutual recognition of ship and crew documentation. It ensures Norwegian maritime industry equivalent conditions as EU maritime industry
