MFA AlgiersALGIERS - Algeria has condemned the murder of Saudi citizen Jamal Kashoggi, while expressing its "conviction" that Saudi justice will shed light on this case, said Sunday in a Statement, Abdelaziz Benali Cherif, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE).

"Algeria, which is linked to Saudi Arabia through close relations of brotherhood and cooperation and shares a common destiny with it, expresses its conviction that Saudi justice will be able to shed light on this murder," said the MFA spokesman.

"Algeria has learned about the elements of the investigation conducted by the Saudi judiciary authorities regarding the murder of the Saudi citizen Jamal Kashoggi, as made by the Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 16 November," the MFA spokesman noted, adding that Algeria, which condemns with the utmost vigour the horrible murder of the Saudi citizen, takes note of the conclusions reached by the Saudi judiciary regarding the circumstances of the carrying out of the crime and the identity of those who ordered and executed it," stressed. Abdelaziz Benali Cherif.
